If I run for political office, and have a "business" selling IDK... "ant curated crumb piles" for like elevently kabillion dollars each and just anybody from anywhere is buying those things, and then I'm really really nice to them if I win... maybe?

@futurebird This is the country where a majority of the current members of the Supreme Court pretend that it is okay for an elected official to walk into a business, say "I need money", and walk out with a check.

@futurebird One side of me says "That's unethical."Another side equivocates "It's hard to be a stickler for ethics when the rules are simply broken without consequence."A third side is tapping at a calculator, and looking up pricing info.
