       Okay, it looks like the article about Privacy Preserving Attribution in Firefox from noyb is just referring to the "Website Advertising Preferences" feature Mozilla opted us all into a couple months ago.  Not that it makes it better, but if you're like me, you thought this was ANOTHER new fucking thing.  If you already raged about something similar back in early August, this is that.  And every time I've installed Firefox in the last two weeks, it has been disabled by default... for now.But still.  Mozilla bad now.#firefox #mozilla #privacy

       @bluecaller@urusai.social I think if you install Firefox from a Linux distro like Debian, it has telemetry disabled by default, and apparently PPA will not be enabled if telemetry is turned off. Doesn't make the thing any better though; just because someone enabled Mozilla's telemetry (or more likely, kept it enabled since it's opt-out by default in the official binaries) doesn't mean they've also opted for PPA.
