@Vidmastereon @ins0mniak I'm actually struggling to think of what would be problematic or considered to be outdated in Metal Gear.Sigint talks about the ongoing civil rights movement in the 60's, since MGS3 is a period piece, MGS1 openly debates whether someone's fundamental character is based in their genes or environment, Meryl is a stereotypical 90's anime badass woman, MGS2 is about terrorism and the aftermath of the cold war ending.But there's nothing objectionable here, even if I put myself in the headspace of the garden variety twitter shitlib.Does Konami just assume since Metal Gear expects the player to think about the story sometimes that people are going to get upset? The games are political because it has to be to tell a story about people, it's not people telling a story about politics.

Silent Hill's quick content warning when you booted up the game used to be there to add to the atmosphere, like you were playing something that isn't for the faint of heart... But now content warnings just tell me that the company producing the game is retarded and assumes all of their players are as well.
