I bought kefir at the store today. I've never had it before. Apparently it's like drinkable yogurt. And I should expect it to make me fart tremendously.

@twizzay @RL_Dane @tulpa oh interesting. I'm a big fan of kombucha which has a bacterial culture and is supposedly good for your gut. I've seen some commercial probiotiflc sodas but not this water kefir you speak of

@RL_Dane a kind of fermented milk, not unsimilar to youghurt but with different bacteria & yeast. originated in caucasus. very popular in soviet union (where they didn't have youghurt in stores until the fall of the wall).natural, unflavoured is the kind to go, it is very good, don't spoil it with sugar! also much less sour taste then greek youghurt.love it.
