Someone (on Tumblr) was wondering if my teeth keyboard would have better feel on their fingers, since they're autistic.I can confirm that it does not.But now I'm thinking about making a keyboard that's specifically pessimized for finger-feel:The sandpaper keyboard!

@foone eternally damp and slightly mildew-y carpet. Like if it was made from the carpet out of a dive-bar. Bonus if it faintly smells of sour Papbst Blue Ribbon and regret.

@foone sandpaper's not that bad. Like, scratchy, sure, but like, you could do fiberglass. Or like something gritty and unpleasantly textured like chalkboard rather than just scratchy

@foone Soft rubber dimples with a hard clicking mechanism if you press hard enough (slightly more than you'd use typing on a regular keyboard) on them, like clicking the top of a pen to bring the point in or out.The clicking mechanism does absolutely nothing.

@shitpostalotl @august technically yes: if you press keys too fast, you'll be shocked so much that you'd be unable to keep pressing keys! but that'll vary from person to person, of course... (this is definitely a joke, to be clear)

@foone Velvet or a rough cotton weave please. And none of this repeating letters on hold. Nonsense. Instead open up a selector box on screen like on a phone. Hold down a to access æ and å, that sort of thing. Who needs to write a five hundred times?
