       @p I think you're wrong, mass immigration is more than that.When done in a lessez-faire way, it omcreases stratification, and - in the extreme - results in two nations occupying one country. That leads to internal conflict which weakens the society and makes it more prone to manipulation by politicians, and also more prone to hostile influence or outright aggression from other states.
