@kravietz A blatant lie notwithstanding, there are good reasons to submit your apps for a platform verification. In the end, you distribute an app for *their* platform, so you'll have to play by *their* rules.Regarding $100, MacOS development isn't cheap anyway since you'll need to either own their expensive hardware or rent a virtual machine (Apple restrict running MacOS on non-native hardware).

I’m not getting the “platform” from Apple for free, I’m paying tons of money for a phone and once purchased, I use it by my rules, because, once sold, it’s not longer their property, it becomes my phone. And my phone runs the apps I like, simple.In the same way you could try to justify platforms like Amazon taking away books or movies you had purchased. But most people choose to disagree rather than blindly submit to vendor’s arbitrary whims.Apple restrict running MacOS on non-native hardwareThat’s why there’s various Hackintosh projects.
