I've said it before, but it's time to say it again: The LPNH does not represent libertarians. It's a rogue organization.https://www.boston.com/news/politics/2024/09/15/nh-libertarians-appear-to-encourage-the-assassination-of-kamala-harris/#LPNH #LibertarianParty #libertarian

@gmcgath At this point, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they were being funded or otherwise supported by a substantial number of authoritarians, just so they can have a group to gesture at and claim that "this is what libertarianism is!!"

@gmcgath It's been a long time since I followed LP internal politics, but WTF is up with the LPNH? I get that, in general, the Mises Caucus takeover has largely pushed the national party in a more traditionally conservative direction, and I'm no fan of McArdle, but the NH chapter seems to be particularly toxic.Did the Free State thing manage to just sweep in the dregs, or is it as @AlexanderKingsbury says?

@mindhog @AlexanderKingsbury I don't think it has anything to do with the FSP. Personally, I was involved at the regional but not the state level, so I didn't get a clear first-hand picture. My impression is it was a classic case of too few people stepping up and the worst ones filling in the vacuum.
