@futurebird She seems to me to be almost an INVERSE of the MPDG.Here's my thinking: MPDG as a character typically exists solely to provide a catalyst for male protagonist's growth. (Ur-case for me is Natalie Portman's character in Garden State.)For Loomer, though, the only conceivable growth would be post-traumatic; regression is far more likely. (See also Kimberly Guilfoyle.)I think it's the "dream" part that's bugging me. So maybe 'Manic Fascist Nightmare Mate'?
