First couple of weeks she was extremely protective and they were inseparable. Now the runt is like a housecat. I'm not even kidding. It'll run up against your hand and run or walk around your feet and between your legs.Little guy is as cute as he is valuable data. That chicken would have died if I'd left it with the others. Probably would have been condemned at processing due to its size alone. Yet now, mixed in with my flock of egglayers, it's flourishing. It's feathers finally came it, it's fattened up, can hop, jump, and run around. It and the turkey hang out together, I think because they're both White, literally.These are highly unusual traits for that broiler breed at that age.

She is homeschooled, she goes to a Co-op, she does American Heritage Girls, etc. Shes got a very active life - but that's all the kids these days. They love their tablet art programs like Procreate, which is actually a good program, my daughter had learned how to animate her artwork which is really cool. Her tablet has parental controls and time limits. Why would you make this assumption?

It's so hard (being a parent now vs. even 20-30 yrs. ago). Even if/when I've wanted my son to be more in-person with friends... many friends don't, or their parents don't.We're rural & closest boys his age are goblins from mud shark down road. My husband always says tech is the future & where big earnings are... I say send the kids into the woods 😆And girls are more social than overtly physical. If she's sharing crafts, that's great.If you think about it, even cartoons for kids began when the village that used to raise them was killed off (metaphorically) by the industrial age, & one woman couldn't hack it all for everyone home alone 🤷♀️ Mind you, again, I care more about screen time than the old man even. I know there's balance & it's very easy to get lost.

I think it's sad they can't even be themselves anymore at school - they get put on ADHD meds for simply being smart and bored by school, they get told their nature instincts are "toxic" etc. I truly feel for boys these days.
