       Anyone got a good recommendation for a Smortwatch to buy ? My Fossil one has no updates since 2022 and software is slowly too old to be installed on it…

       @garfieldairlines@fedi.garfieldairlines.net i bought a second hand samsung watch5 pro and i'm quite happy with it, you need to install some samsung apps from the play store to make it work on non-samsung devices though afaik.

       @blumlaut @garfieldairlines Seconded - although I got the Watch 4 with the rotating bezel. Pure fidget toy joy~<3It's simple but it does the job quite well for all the generic smartwatch things!

       @xaseiresh@fosstodon.org @garfieldairlines@fedi.garfieldairlines.net i went for the 5 pro as it apparently had the better battery life, i can go about 4 days without charging which is great for me as i usually charge it every 2 days, leaves me with enough time to simply skip a charge if i forget.
