I checked on the trending topics a few times on X over the evening including after the Taylor Swift endorsement and "Taylor Swift" was not trending. Even after an hour or so the only Taylor related tag was "Tay Tay" and it wasn't in the top five. It could be that there are simply no women on X anymore. But, I can't shake the feeling a billionaire messed with his algorithm. Of course I can't prove this. But it's reasonable, right?

Can anyone convince me that Elon wouldn't suppress things that scare and displease him on Twitter? Everyone needs to leave that place. It's like living in a house knowing that someone lives in your walls who secretly rearranges your furniture at night and messes with your food... but not doing anything about it.

@futurebird Did you see Elon's super-creepy joke about "giving her a baby?" I honestly think he has no clue how disturbing and inappropriate that is. Also, thinking that it comes across as a joke. (If it isn't, then I'm gonna have to go throw up for a while.)

@futurebird all she needs to do is say even though she endorsed Harris, she still thinks Musk is the hottest man on the planet I can almost see the conflict of interest between his greed and his ego causing a meltdown.

@futurebird The question is not if Twitter is moderating the content and trending list. It is how it is doing so.Viewing my Twitter account right now; it does have "Taylor Swift" as a trending topic (ranked #3, plus or minus one depending on the IP address I use).But it also has JD Vance's racist blood libel in the trending list; when that could have been moderated out.It is certainly the management's decision to allow Trump, Vance, etc. on the platform.
