wait so my USB drive says it's 4,017,983,488 bytes, or 3.74 gigabytes.The ISO for xubuntu 24.04 is 4,100,511,744 bytes, or 3.81 gigabytes. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS

@foone you have to have an installer image that comes with full office suites, which will all be immediately replaced by apt-update.

@foone xubuntu minimal at 3.0G will fit on that USB, you can add packages after install.---unless I missed the point and we're out here being silly. In that case, it's conspiracy with BIG USB to sell more sticks

@foone It is the result of a poorly documented policy from the evil villain syndicate. It dates back from the early ’90s where the hero would break into HQ and copy the evil plans to a floppy. By making the plans slightly bigger, the copy would fail at the last minute and the henchmen would catch the hero.
