Remember how historically speaking, the Playstation 2 was the most successfully manufactured and profitable console of all time?It's only been two decades since then and now we end up at this point. I hope it was worth it Sony.Even the PS3 had games.

I had a long, good-faith discussion with a friend about the Playstation brand today. In his opinion, ease of use and exclusive titles will keep the brand relevant for 20+ years.I appreciated his willingness to discuss the topic, but I thought it was pretty delusional. There is nothing that Playstation does to bring people from one platform to theirs, exclusives be damned. If I didn't have a PC and some exclusive title caught my eye, then maybe. But once you're off the reservation, I don't believe there's a reason to buy back in. And I played the shit out of my PS4.

@notst0 Just get another pc. Seriously,consoles are pretty irrelevant at this point. Especially for adults that need a piece of hardware for more purposes than just playing games.I mean it wouldn't be so bad if console manufacturers realized this and either made their consoles more like computers or slashed the overall price point due to a console's very limited capabilities but nope,they still trying to hustle out here!
