@historyofpunkrock This album in my opinion is their best. "My War" set the tone for this album. "Slip it in" has remained on my playlist for years. My favorite songs are "Slip it in" "Black Coffee" and "Wound Up". Their sound was phenomenal they were heavy!!The songs were structured great. They were tighter and had songs that were fast and doomy. With "My War" and "Slip it in" they were untouchable.

@historyofpunkrock Operation Ivy - Energy. One of the major releases from Lookout Records, Op Ivy was one of the most influential punk rock bands from Bay Area during the 1980s.

@historyofpunkrock It's an obvious choice, but London Calling by The Clash is fucking awesome. Loved every song on the first listen and every listen since.

@historyofpunkrock It may be cliche 40+ years later, but I love Never Mind The Bollocks and can (badly) sing along with John Lydon on every track. His fury was 100% contagious.

@historyofpunkrock Black Dots by Bad Brains. Maybe not considered a proper release, high energy, always enjoyable with the bonus of HR recording his vocals in the backyard.

@historyofpunkrock Jeeze, so many. I was going to say The Pretenders’ first record, which is indeed perfect front to back, but is it really *punk* punk or punk influenced rock? But Minutemen have a few perfect records so let’s say “3-way Tie (for Last)”
