@Patton @signalapp @simplex Of course. Prison is no fun, so everyone knew that. The key question is... what will Durov do once he gets out? First he will move to a safe country, and then we'll see if he continues to play ball with the government, or starts a new project out of spite.

@Patton @signalapp @simplex That's smart. I think xmpp, mattermost or jami.net are all better choices than telegram which was never end to end encrypted. But it is a good lesson! If it is a company behind the service, and it is not end to end encrypted, you now know what easily can happen, and how easily your information can be leaked.
