I have seen many articles online about using #onedrive with #linux. However, I would appreciate any views from those that have actually done it for a meaningful period of time? I may switch to Linux on my laptop once #windows10 support ends.FYI: I am a currently a #windows #macos and #android user.

@rodlux On the rare occasion I actually need it, I'm just using the web version in Firefox and that has worked fine so far 👍

@floe thanks, I was aware it worked via that also that it can sync (apparently). However, I had issues even syncing #macos with #onedrive a few years ago. I am now toying with #joplin on #onedrive as a way to replace #evernote. Also it supports Linux which Evernote doesn't.

@rodlux @floe I'd recommend looking into Obsidian as an alternative to Evernote. It's cross-platform, too - Windows, Linux, macOS, Android.Obsidian has its own Sync option for $4 a month. However, I use it with Syncthing, which is a decentralised file sync app. It syncs between my phone, laptop and desktop, but I've also got a Raspberry Pi with an SSD attached as another node, just in case.If you're only wanting OneDrive for Joplin, then this might be a good alternative.

@thelastpsion @floe thanks, I use #onedrive as my main datastore as well. The main reason to dump #evernote was that I am not using it as much as before, hence the cost is not really justified. I would also like to have some access to MS products, even if online such as Word.
