Nach den neusten Prognosen der Frankreich-Wahl 2024 von Le Monde sehen die Ergebnisse vorerst so aus:34,0% Rassemblement National (Le Pen) 28,5% Nouveau Front Populaire 20,5% Ensemble (Macron) 10,2% Les Républicains 09,8% SonstigesQuelle: Frankfurter Rundschau / Le MondeKorrigiert mich wenn Ich falsch liege, doch wenn die Parteien ungefähr diese Stimmen letztendlich erhalten so würde es eine Stichwahl zwischen der RN (Le Pen) und NFP geben, da es die zwei stärksten Kräfte sind, oder?Das klingt für mich wie ein sehr gutes bisheriges Ergebnis. Die Volksfront hätte durch diesen Zusammenhalt es dann geschafft die Alternative zum Faschismus zu werden und somit diesem nicht mit Macron's neoliberalen Stellungen entgegenzutreten, sondern mit linken Zusammenhalt, also Sozialprogramme und gelebten Antifaschismus. Ich habe Hoffnung!

Das linke Bündnis Nouveau Front Populaire (NFP) hat jede Kandidatur in den Regionen aufgegeben in denen sie nur den dritten Platz bekommen haben, um die Stimme eindeutig Macron zu geben und nicht wegen der Gespaltenheit die Rechtsextremisten an die Macht zu lassen.Macron's Ensemble-Partei hat noch nicht das gleiche getan in Regionen in denen sie lediglich den dritten Platz belegen, da sie insgesamt auf nationaler Ebene lediglich auf Platz 3 sind, doch fordert nun alle Wähler:Innen auf so zu stimmen, dass Le Pen nicht an die Macht kommt!

Macron und seine Partei Ensemble haben sich leider dazu entschieden auf ihrer Position zu beharren und verbreiten weiterhin das Narrativ das ein Sieg der „Linksextremisten” (also Nouveau Front Populaire) das schlimmste sei was Frankreich passieren könnte.Sie ignorieren so Le Pen mit ihrer faschistischen Partei Rassemblement National und helfen ihnen wissentlich zum Wahlerfolg. Das die Nouveau Front Populaire nicht linksradikal ist lässt sich herauslesen aus ihren Positionen, der Bestätigung des Conseil d'Etat (Staatsrat) das diese Partei lediglich als „links” und nicht linksextrem einzuordnen sei, sowie dem Fakt das sie zusammengesetzt aus der französischen Version von Die Linke, den Grünen und der SPD sind. Daran kann nichts linksradikal sein.Dies ist lediglich eine Notlüge damit Macron begründen kann warum sie in den Departments / Wahlbezirken in denen sie lediglich die drittstärkste Kraft wurden, ihre Partei für die Stichwahl nicht zurückziehen. Wir erinnern uns, die Nouveau Front Populaire zieht sich in jedem Bezirk zurück in dem sie den dritten Platz erzielt hat und ermöglicht so Macron's Ensemble Partei bei der Stichwahl den Sieg um eine Wahl der Faschisten zu verhindern. Despite the Left Coalition Nouveau Front Populaire ( @nouveaufrontpopulaire ) recently coming out ahead in the snap election and having a plurality, Macron refused to appoint their candidate Mélenchon as prime minister, despite having enough support to form a government. Instead today, Macron has appointed Michel Barnier, who is a member of the right to far right Les Républicains (LR) party, which have been endorsed by Le Pen, among others. During the election, they also collaborated with Le Pen's Rassemblement National (RN) and talked about a future coalition together. Meaning that Macron is tacitly endorsing the fascists, despite the left democratically winning the election. All because Macron doesn't like La France Insoumise (democratic socialists).

His neo-liberal credentials are in full view (not that he cares since he cannot run again) and a poke in the eye for those who elected him expecting progressive policies. The alliance with the right and far-right of the Assembly is immensely harmful to all French citizens. @ErikUden Pluralities don't pass the budget and pluralities don't help you survive votes of no confidence. Macron had a plurality of 250, not their 190ish (because it's... complicated among the factions) and had to call snap elections because LR and LIOT announced they would not vote the budget then bring down the government. In October, with two and a half months to go before the budget deadline. The lefts did not win the election, nobody did.

@ErikUden leftiestats is a beautiful thing to call your own stats when the real ones are so very cruel. Here are some realitystats: the majority in the French National Assembly is 289. The guy appointed to lead the government is part of a coalition that falls short of that absolute majority by fewer seats than la melenchonie refusing ANY coalition does. Are you American living in Germany by any chance or are you just pretending to not understand how European coalition governments work?

@ErikUden @nouveaufrontpopulaire Mélenchon is NOT the NFP candidate to become prime minister! He never was, except in the dreams of a few LFI members.The left-wing coalition took some time to agree on a proposition, ending up with Julie Castets, not previously involved in politics and who is revealing herself as an excellent choice. Ereasing her like this is quite rude!

LFI was an excuse, and Mélenchon brillantly used it to trick those who claimed to oppose LFI, Macron included : would you agree to a leftist government *without* LFI ?Guess what ? The answer was a big no… an all of a sudden the whole NFP was “dangerous”.

Slightly. Within this group, the PS (center-left) grew the most, not LFI (far left), that remained stable [1/2]
