       @daedalus it calls for a - gasp - *regulation* approach to regulation. Not a “we have regulations and a regulator” approach. Actual regulation. Consequences. Enforcement. With teeth.

       @aral @daedalus only to a point. When the cost of doing business means you can’t do business, you have a choice: change your business, or fail. There are a whole lot of problems with incarceration so there must be alternatives.
