       I don't know what happened.Last night A/C was cooling house fine until suddenly it started making an unusual noise. (The refrigerant lines run through the wall near my bed.) Sounded like bearing failure inside the compressor because it transferred the noise through the lines. After a little while the sound changed and then, the condenser STOPPED! And that was the end of cold air!Now I find the condenser fan doesnt work, hums but doesnt turn unless I push it. It's not seized. [begin thread...

       Too hard to upload videos right now.(can't even upload image apparently.) Anyway, both fan motor and compressor won't run. Bad capacitor? Do they share the same capacitor? But why would that cause strange sound? Hmm...
