@futurebird when I try to explain to my tweens that in 1993 a high school friend was harassed and threatened until she went elsewhere because she came out as bi, they look at me like I’m from another planet.

@futurebird My experience was different and happened in college about a decade and a half earlier. "All the books and songs and poems and movies are just exaggerating about sex, right?" Blank stares.
