       50 years ago this month, my high school began its first varsity #soccer team. Here I am in all my long haired glory. I played for club teams till I was 27. At 40, I started again playing pickup 3 times a week non-stop till I was 63. Photo by my dad, Richard Babyak. IIRC we wore some of the first molded cleats. I also remember that the game balls were leather, so when they got wet they turned into concrete boulders. 😬😬😬#mastodonfc #footy #calcio #voetbal
