@Frondeur @Shadowman311 They could bill her if she made the call, otherwise your debts die with you unless someone agrees to take them on. Yes, they'll still try because people will fall for it but it's unenforceable.

@Shadowman311 I found out from a friend about something really macabre that he experienced first hand. Apparently if someone close to you is the victim of a violent death or something tragic like that and its in their home, if you're the closest person to them, you're basically responsible for cleaning up the bloody mess. Pieces of brain, skull, blood, its all on you to clean up. You can hire cleaning services or you can do yourself. He did it himself...

@CaptainButthurt @Shadowman311 My second wife's uncle blasted his brain all over a wall and ceiling and yep, we cleaned it up and made the repairs. Pretty harsh but not the grossest thing I've ever had to do.

@Zettour @Frondeur @Shadowman311 AT&T's policy is if an account holder dies, anyone who wants to keep their numbers has to move their lines to someone else's account, or create a new account and bring their lines onto it. The outstanding balance is written off, and no one on the account is responsible for it.But the company is still evil.
