It'd never in a million years occur to me to wonder why a presidential candidate has their VP along on an interview on my own. But, after hearing people speculate it's some sign of weakness I find the point infectious. It's probably a sign of a little lingering sexism that this works.

@futurebird It's total sexist bullshit that they're making a deal about this. Almost every candidate for president in at least the last 30 years has given a dual interview with their VP pick.

@futurebird I think it's a dare to Trump and Vance to do a combo interviewthat'd be a train wreck running into a 57 car pileup on the interstate and that much hot air bloviating from two endless hot air sources will certainly cause a twister

@lufthans They have already done one like that. Vance is quiet and just yes-mans the whole time. It's kind of gross but you can see why Trump like him. Boy is totally star struck by Trump.
