       @aral Guns aren't Actor objects. Guns are used as a tool for murder, while religion has been used as a justification for it. Turns out it's a lot easier for people to take lives when they think it's morally right, even when they have really different reasons for it.

       @aral it's even more absurd when a brown person talks about Islam (while being born in a Muslim country) and white people would flat out call you racist and ban you from the online spaces they control. "Islamophobia" is the word now used in the West to enact blasphemy laws there too. I guess even if one immigrated away from being oppressed, tortured, imprisoned and killed, the far reaching hands of religious propaganda will have a say in our lives... It surely fucking sucks.

       @aral Selling the myth of Us versus Them, we are right, they are sinners or wrong is the core principle in dominating the people. Control is power and the enemy of truth. Organized religions belong in the primitive past where men needed an ethical and behavioral compass to make laws stick. We have now, freedom of thought and the devices to learn the truth about a lot of things, no need for superstitions.
