https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq5dqxzggleo"Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson was forced to "crawl off" an LNER train arriving at London's King's Cross."Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Today programme, the 11-time Paralympic gold medallist said she had initially booked assistance to help her off the 19:15 train from Leeds, but missed it and instead travelled on the 19:45."She said she should have been helped off but after waiting for 20 minutes, no one arrived so she had to try to disembark herself."But don't worry. I'm sure it was an 'inclusive' train with a 'progress' flag painted on.

@HebrideanHecate @KateKnit To crawl off herself? Was there no one else to offer to help her off? Or to get a member of staff? Atomisation and its consequences for the human race...This is the actual accessibility inclusion that should be focused on, not sexual preferences or physical attributes... but actual disabilities.

@sim @HebrideanHecate She said a cleaner spoke to her but that person wasn't insured or trained to know how to help. Finding a helpful member of staff at Kings Cross Station is about as likely to happen as passing through the wall to reach Platform 9 3/4.I can't imagine being a passenger on that train and just walking past a woman in a wheelchair who is stuck. But maybe there were others who went to look for help for her - I don't know.

@KateKnit @HebrideanHecate It might have helped if they gave all their staff training for situations like this. Maybe also the general public interested. I do think everyone should know certain things like self-defence and first aid so that they can help someone in need while they are out.

@HebrideanHecate @KateKnit Yes. I mean, surely there must be a way to have at least one door on a train that has an automatic ramp. You press a button and it acts as a ramp. I mean, we have automatic opening doors on new trains that have been a round for many years now.
