@Seth_Wachhaltamittel I should add I am in no way a rich dude. We foight to make bills each month like everyone else. I just have an uncommon line of work that's very risk oriented.

@WingZero @Seth_Wachhaltamittel That's a great question. With poker it's different than actual casino gambling because you can win based on skill (plus luck. There's always that hooah Lady Variance lurking about.) But typically I set certain amounts. If I'm up three buy-ins I take it and go. It also depends though. Do I feel like I have a big edge on the current lineup at the table? Is there some drunk guy absolutely donking it off for free? Am I running extremely hot and can't seem to miss? All of these are factors. Sometimes it's time as well. You never really leave the poker table in the middle of a heater. You do leave the poker table when you no longer feel like you have an edge, if your car dead, or if you keep getting sucked out on. Sometimes it's just not your night and you need to call it a night early to mitigate losses. I also use what stock traders call a stop loss. Ie: if I lose a certain amount of buy-ins I go home for the night. I never bring with me more than I'm willing to lose and I'm always worried about bankroll management. I am not a multi-millionaire. I am not even close to rich. I barely squeak by a comfortable living and it needs to be supplemented by my wife still having an income as well. That being said with more studying, more practice, and some run good, Hopefully I can make a deep run in a tournament that would change my life.
