hey @foone, am I inventing a memory, or did TI have a microprocessor with no registers? As in, the alu interacted directly with the memory registers? figured out of anyone you might know :0

@pinjontall kinda? the chip used in the TI-99/4(a) computers only has two registers, with the rest being in external ram:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TMS9900

@foone hm, dang, I could've sworn there was something weirder out there. Came up when I was looking up that discrete Forth computer with only one nor gate for its ALU IIRC (http://mynor.org/my4th.htm)
