my big headphones broke today the wire frayed itself due to a design flaw that makes the wires bendit can be fixed with solder but i feel that should not be an issue these days it's 2024 why is making reliable headphones such a hard thing to do?

@codydragonrude how long've you had them? I've owned some AKG K240s since 2018. I've pretty much had to replace the cable every year because it gets damaged, but the mini-xlr on the headphones are fine.

@Piejacker875 they were cheap billboard headphones they sounded good but it was a combination of my own fault plus terrible wiring i did accidentally tug the wire moving my head around a few times This is kind of my fault and why i want to go blutooth so badly wired is better quality it's also a pain in the ass if you like moving your body around
