       And, despite working on my laptop, doesn't connect whatsoever on my phone......just goes through an infinite connection-attempt-loop and never succeeds. I've railed against it many times before, and I'll still bitch and moan about it: why is public WiFi infrastructure in the United States so inexcusably terrible?

       The next laptop I buy is going to have a SIM card slot so I can buy a dedicated data plan for it. That's how bad the situation here is in the United States.

       @adiz Can confirm it's not just the US, this is basically the same experience I have had in Melbourne airport. I put it down to wifi being saturated to shit.
