So everyone keeps talking about "the convention bump" this is a rise in polls candidates often experience after a national convention. Given the current ... entrenched political environment I don't know if we will see much of a bump.The bump, and no one says this enough, is a function of the free TV time conventions give candidates. Fox news isn't covering the DNC (except for anything upsetting they can find) so that kind of tells you how this works.

@futurebird agree. I think the bump was when Biden bowed out and there was a glimmer of hope that the dems wanted to actually win. That said they can certainly extend or dampen the current enthusiasm. Hope it’s the former

@futurebird I think it can also come from the announcement of a VP if one hasn’t already been announced. So yeah, not sure if we’ll get one. But I’d rather a continued crescendo than a bump. :)
