The practice resembles intellectual property theft and can be considered cultural appropriation or misappropriation at the very least. Anglos and Americans especially already take flak for rootlessness and assuming artificial identities; even the 'Irish thing' or "Irish Pride" can be referred to as plastic paddy syndrome elsewhere. It's one thing if someone else calls you "Nazi" or "The Nazi," it's another thing entirely and laughable when people who cannot speak German fluently or even read German documents call themselves one. Even in corny American sub-cultures, it's the most disreputable practice - you're the ultimate "poser" in a music scene, or the ultimate "farb" among historical re-enactors. It also mirrors the behaviors of individuals with no true sense of self, negotiable fluid identities, and the most detested personality disorders: borderlines and narcissists. And so on. In theory, there are other versions of the swastika or Hakenkreuz that could be used. Anglo-Saxons had the fylfot cross which isn't very different, and quite old. Many people like the triskelion or "triple 7," and while some 'fringe' South African nationalist party used it, practically no one knows who they are. There are other variations, as well as other symbols; it's not exactly hard work. We also have many artistic and creative types in the Movement, men and women, if folks want to take a new way. The easiest path of least resistance is for a different kind of people.

@Tadg_macNuadat I will have to reread Poe again at some point in the future, but I was never big on the 'creepy' Poe stories I read as a kid - I don't know if they're more popular or not, but they were sold everywhere back then and cost almost nothing. I always preferred the ones I read later which AFAIK aren't associated with "horror," like the one just referenced and "A Descent in the Maelstrom." @Bunsen Some of us don't have a choice in the matter...I've tried everything I can naturally to boost my test levels above 80 yr old grandma status and it didn't work, so now I gotta take test twice a week to be at a normal level and I look back at what got me here and I'm just angry about.......... irrationally angry about it, but I realize it's my own fault and won't blame anyone else for it. It's also far better now than being a pothead who just charges down big Macs like it's no big deal...it was a dark time, I'm just looking to stay in the light.

I found one that's good for editing images, but it can't even create a basic logo with proper spelling... Also, are there any AIs that will add a swastika to an image, or do they all just say "das raciss"? I already know none of them will do blackface, sadly.
