@Flipboard I discovered that #Flipboard can not follow #WordPress blogs in the #Fediverse.I tried following several of mine & it did not work, then I tried to follow @pfefferle@mastodon.social blog (which is @pfefferle@notiz.blog) from the Flipboard app & it also did not work.I encountered the same error when trying to follow #Ghost (on @index) & #MicroBlog (using @manton) too.#WriteFreely works though! đđ

According to their announcement, you should be able to follow any Fediverse account, even if ActivityPub is not fully updated on your Flipboard account.It could be a random bug though, as I was able to follow WriteFreely blogs from Flipboard (that is the only blog platform working right now).

I can follow anyone on the fediverse, but there are no notifications that they were followed by a Flipboard account.Maybe if a fediverse account is not sending the proper Atom feed, Flipboard won't be able to âfollow itâ if the Flipboard account is not yet federated.

@mike @greg @JsonCulverhouse maybe you can also tell me what the fallback is, if a user has federation disabled? What happens if this user clicks the follow button? will it subscribe to the RSS feed? does that feed has to be a well-known URI?
