@Kierkegaanks For many Japanese people, shrines are probably familiar sightseeing spots.In addition to worshiping, the shrine garden has a beautiful pond and plants. So feel free to stop by even if you are not a religious person.It is very common to greet '八百万の神~Yaoyorozu no Kami'.(I think people who believe in a particular religion probably have special places of worship that I don't know about.)

@mikako6 i only became aware of them through anime feature films, which were able to convey a sense of introspective wonder about them. It made me wonder if there is room for them in large modern cities
