       something I only learned by experience: if you meet someone, and their "life story" includes basically everyone they've ever really interacted with being a multitude of abusers, you're most likely looking at someone who's engaged in DARVO* their whole life, and who will gladly add you to the list of accused if you resist control * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARVO

       this isn't to say you shouldn't believe victims -- we've had a handful of abusers in our life who've had an oversized impact on usbut when it's everyone? and especially when the people accused all seem to have called the first person an abuser themselves? that's probably a cue to be suspicious
