Just as the size of the infantry company or platoon really doesn't change that much with tech advances, a Fletcher-class destroyer had 329 officers and enlisted and a nearly five times larger Arleigh Burke-class destroyer has 23 officers, 300 enlisted. So your interstellar warp capable space destroyer shall mass around 100k tons, and have 20 officers and 300 enlisted.

@Hcobb Once upon a time, people made fun of how Star Wars "Star Destroyers" were so big, even though destroyers are almost the smallest class of warships. But the joke got less and less sensible as it became increasingly clear that destroyers were just plain getting bigger and bigger.Turns out "destroyer" is only meant to SOUND small ... to Congress and their equivalents in other countries.
