We don't have voter ID rules in NY, but many states do. Here is a great organization that has information about what you need to bring to the polls. If you need to get an ID there is still time NOW, so now is the time to check your local rules.https://www.voteriders.org/

@futurebird After living in Arizona, where one's driver's license doesn't expire until age 65, and thus quickly gets out of sync with one's address, I'm permanently paranoid about paper delivery of bills and bank statements to satisfy the draconian ID laws in this state and others. Sigh.

@futurebird I am reliably informed that in some US states, you need a photo ID to vote in person, but not to vote by mail.
