The dehumanization of the homeless has brought us to a point where existing without a home is now a criminalizable offense. That means poverty is being criminalized, public space is increasingly inaccessible, and existence is becoming harder for all of us. We have to resist, both in action and in shifting the paradigm away from the dehumanization of our fellow human beings who struggle in this capitalist world.https://www.jphilll.com/p/the-homeless-are-not-alone

@joshuaphilll i have seen some statistics that say up to 60% of homeless have been traumatized as children, 40%are from foster care, and 30% are vets. So our system is continuing to victimize and them criminalize people for their past.
