       @nyrath I am rereading Steele’s “Near Space” novel ORBITAL DECAY and there’s a shuttle on Pad 39A called the “Willey Ley” — and this is very appropriate given the design of the ship in some of the stories like “The Weight”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willy_Ley

       @pauldrye @nyrath It’s the “tech manual” that was included with the Pilgrim Observer model. Written by G. Harry Stine, IIRC. Allen Steele used it in a couple of his stories.
