@Turkleton It's the altitude, not mushrooms. Travelling up into the Andes people get mild oxygen deprivation because the air is much thinner than what we're used to, which leads to brain hypoxia.

@robbie @TheEternalAnglo Damn that is a good hike. I can't remember how high-up it was but I hiked this mountain here called Mt SI and it was all Good and fun except the last half mile or so was very steep incline and kinda gave me jelly legs but it was worth it because it was gorgeous up there
