Background:My husband likes to read about UFOs and I make fun of him for it relentlessly. He was reading me a "report" (UFO ghost story) about the "Skin-walker Ranch" it starts with a list of "problems that have been reported at the ranch."Unexplained Lights, Items Moving, Strange Sounds, Missing Animals, Aliens Eating People, Strange Burn Marks, Cold Spots. This list was hilarious because one of the items kind of ... jumps out as not being like the rest.

@futurebird People eating children would certainly be more horrifying, but you asked which would be more "traumatic", and I suspect it's the aliens. The first option would trigger strong revulsion and rage, but very little fear; being an adult walking alone with my dog, I am in no immediate danger.The second option, while understandable from the aliens' perspective, is more likely to trigger an immediate, trauma-inducing stress response IMO.
