@stux Impressive bit of lifting. I assume they moved the joist through the house and out of the back. Kinda surprised it managed to hold the joist at such a distance as there must be a lot of leverage.

@edgeofeurope addertje onder het gras is, dat flexen geen probleem is als je het met 2 man begeleid daarboven en de kraandriver daar ook kan zijn, omdat alles met een afstandbediening gaat tegenwoordig. @stux

@stux at my workplace they had no access for a crane so used an extra tall one and angled it over 5 storeys of the building. Driver controlled it blind via radio.

@stux I just had three RSJs fitted for my loft. They had a portable, hand cracked lifter that came in in bits and could fit through a standard doorframe. Cost £100 a day to hire. Steels lifted were bigger than that one.
