@futurebird He actually literally believes that people are just... picking up criminals (all of whom have darker skin color of course -- there are no white criminals in his world of course) and just... dropping them off in America... @futurebird I was just reading an article on slavery in the Confederacy. It was an enlightening read. One thing was the desire of the common man to own slaves themselves, and then if still poor they could feel better off than the slaves. I was reading about it to see if my simmering idea about our era being similar to the pre civil war era, with plantation and factory owners of slaves being comparable in greed and motives to today's billionaires.

@samiamsam @futurebird I have come to believe that the existence of billionaires in our society suggests flaws in how our economy works and is managed.Even a cursory look shows that the billionaires learned that investing in owning politicians and high level judges has done much to increase their fortunes. And owning virtually an entire political party has worked far better than a few scattered politicians.The latest investment seems to be to own a significant share of mainstream media outlets. Nothing that can't be corrected if voters WAKE UP!!!
