I think this continues to highlight the reality that you can't just _buy_ technology. You have to hire/maintain the staff who actually understand it.Turns out they're not replaceable cogs in the machine. Context has a price and $44B doesn't seem to have been enough to purchase it.Instead he (the Muskovite) got a $44B megaphone.

@futurebird @401matthall Do you suppose if they hadn't fired like 3/4th of their workforce including everyone who was remotely close to an expert at doing any of this stuff this incident may not have happened since someone might have suggested scaling up the servers for the event?Eh, probably not. Musk probably would have shouted them down and fired them anyway.
