When Trump first started claiming that he won states that he didn't win it suggested to me a man who wanted the people who do not support him to disappear. (I was told this was hyperbolic.)Maybe he couldn't see the thousands of people at that airport because, to him, those Americans simply do not exist. And, if they do? they shouldn't count. Will he apologize for this factual error? No. Will media let this go even though they shouldn't? Probably.

This has been happening since the start of his presidency with the the inauguration. Although, that was a less egregious lie. That could be called exaggeration. In this steaming whopper he claims an airport hanger filled with thousands was *empty* this can't be excused as an exaggeration. It's a 2+2=5 level of lie.It's false, and a person who respected the public would apologize and correct their error. A serious press would NEVER drop the issue.

@futurebird I always read those like an insight into the cheaters mind: Look what she's doing, which is exactly what I am doing! By the way, I'll tell you what I'm doing, but rewritten as coming from her. Works wonderfully also with texts from Russia, China, or any other authoritarian government. They tell you what they're doing, but rephrased as other people's actions.
