@HebrideanHecate @Ladyfat There's a whole youtube channel called shark cat and every video is cat in shark outfit riding around on back of hoover. To be honest it's (in my opinion) the only legit reason to have one.

@Ladyfat @HebrideanHecate FIRE HAZARD! Go to London fire brigade website ... they update it daily with report of all their call outs and cause suspected. Battery fires are the new chip pans. Have you seen those things go up. People stand little chance to get past one to door etc if in way. :blobsad:

@HebrideanHecate Speaking of floor cleaning devices, my Bissell fell apart (rather explosively, it was quite impressive when the springs went flying), and I took a punt on one of these to replace it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001YFSIT0Pretty effective, and you can take the handle off to do the stairs. Much better on hard floors.

@Flick Pity you don't have video footage of that!I have a Henry, and some other small slight thing for the in-between cleans and taking up the stair, we don't have carpets, but this is a very dusty house, quite the worst I have ever been in. The cats are not as moulty as some of the ones I have had in the past, the Gingerosity was terrible, he shed hair like nothing on earth. Vacuuming is one of my most hated jobs, and housework and I do not get on at all.
