Apparently the faggot from Pirate Software is opposing the Stop Killing Games initiative spearheaded by Ross.The way he represents the points of the initiative, as well as his simping for live service games, and immediately trying to hide behind the excuse of "oh well this makes it harder for developers, triple A and indie" makes me think he's opposition, likely of the paid variety but whatever the case all I can see is that he is acting in bad faith.

I will say that pirate faggot is extremely good at pissing me off. Other industries would face legal charges for operating this way. @CatLord @Turdicus @TopBep Not to beat a dead horse by praising how Blizzard used to be contrasted to what it is now, but it's funny how they were the epitome of what good customer service was.Back in the first few WoW expansions, Game Masters (GMs) used to be extremely helpful and friendly employees logged into the game and ready to assist with any technical issue you had. I remember one gifted me one free month of play because of some minor credit card issue I had at one point.And this was back when the WoW playerbase was at its highest, probably like 4-5 times what it is now.Now it's just an impersonal ticket system.

@Ivan_Ivanovich @CatLord @TopBep oh, I'm sure I haven't played WC3 in 15+ years. just remembering the days of playing HERO ONLY. > tl;dr just build an ever expanding wall of towers and fast build to Tier3 for three heroes. since you never build units, you deny your opponent experience for their heroes, and you have a gold advantage because you're never in "upkeep". if your opponents start building siege weapons, having 6 or 9 Heroes (2v2 or 3v3) usually means you can take out the siege units before your towns get completely wrecked. so your heroes get experience but so long as you keep your heroes alive, your opponent's heroes don't get experience (because you don't get experience from destroying buildings). eventually your team of heroes have a massive level advantage against your opponents and you just destroy them using only heroes. > this stopped working after a few years of the Frozen Throne expansion: Blizzard changed experience such that your heroes don't get experience from Tower kills.
