       It never occurred to me once upon a time that my set-aside masters of manuscripts (WordPerfect format) would be verrrrrry hard to open one day. 😮

       I can't remember the last time I heard about WordPerfect. Something like 20 years ago?Surprisingly, I found that the product is still alive, and that someone supports it. You can, however, use LibreOffice, an open source office suite. As far as I know, it supports wpf. @wampusmm

       @dump_stack Ah, LibreOffice! I’ll look into that. WordPerfect is still around, true (who is using it? mystery), but I don’t think it’s been able to open original WP files in a while. Funny how quickly digital formats become useless. Thanks for the ideas.
