@ZachWeinersmith the old stock market rule is "sell in May and go away", historically there's pretty much always a market correction in the summer as inventories reach their highest points as companies start piling up the crap for Christmas. All we really need to do is add a summer seasonal holiday.

@sophieschmieg Very small. Stock market's still up 10%ish on the year. I think everyone's just waiting for the AI bubble to pop valuations, but part of the problem is the relevant companies are raking in money hand over fist for non-LLM stuff.

@ZachWeinersmith This isn't a massive "crash", to be fair, it's a mere correction (I'd say wait til sometime between September and the election if #KamalaHarris beats #Trump for a true crash), but pretending that what is happening today is not important or consequential is not wise.
