Joe Rogan has had someone on his show named Michael Malice several times. I know nothing about this guy, but he does seem to have curious taste in fashion. The jacket that he wore in the video of the podcast appears to be made by a Japanese fashion house that makes edgy Nazi stuff. This isn't all that important, though how Spotify can continue to promote Rogan without anyone caring is beyond me.Via 'the surfs' and I didn't want it to be forgotten. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hmMben-Vs0

This isn't even that remarkable for Rogan. He's had people like this before on the show and frankly says stuff himself that ought to make it clear "where he is coming from" ... but this kind of visual evidence (You literally have on a Nazi jacket) can be more clear and compelling than analyzing words. The chat on the show noticed this, was disgusted and moved on. But I say... save the evidence!

@futurebird Rogan routinely gets fact-checked live on his own show by his own staff.

The next time someone confesses listening to Rogan and you tell them "He promotes nazi stuff" here is an easy way to show that. "Look his guests bought the damn jacket."(The "Indian Chief" patch is really just as bad as what's on the back if you think about it at all. )

@drakenblackknight He is not a smart man. But I guess that is "relatable"I do not understand the attraction of a washed up confused racist fighter who isn't even talking about fights ... the only thing he might know something about... maybe?

@futurebird His show wasn't always like this. I remember when he had intelligent (probably scripted) conversations with guests like Daniel Radcliffe.I should point out that I only watched the clips on YouTube. I never, not once, downloaded Spotify. Then Covid happened and he went full-on MAGA. Then his show got weird.

@futurebird @drakenblackknight Bullshitters like watching someone who bullshits about things just like they would, if they had any friends.

@futurebird I stopped using Spotify specifically because of Rogan. I honestly *had* thought everyone else was doing the same thing, but I guess the resolve of most people extends as far as it remains convenient for them.

@futurebird White guy with indigenous symbolism is definitely something to feel on edge about. The "Dead Indian War Chief" image is not that great to wear, considering how white people played the leading part in the death of said chiefs.Unless you're besties with a specific indigenous people who can help you keep it respectful of their one specific culture, it's best to not go there.

@futurebird And it's just not Spotify. I opened Netflix this weekend and there it was: a Joe Rogan comedy special on the What's New section. FFS.

@futurebird he appeared on a podcast that I listened to because of reasons and I remember precisely two things about him: that he self-describes as an anarchist (curious taste in jackets for one) and that he has 50 bars of shaving soap that he rotates.
